Pizza Base
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt and mix well. Make a well in the centre and add yeast and water. Stir gently until the yeast dissolves.
  2. Add olive oil and continue to stir until a rough dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until the dough becomes soft, smooth and elastic.
  4. Oil a clean bowl and place the dough inside. Cover with a damp towel or cling wrap and leave to rise for 1 hour until it doubles in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  6. Punch down the dough and place it on a floured pizza pan. Roll out the dough into a 12 inch (30cm) circle. Press the edges slightly to form a crust.
  7. Bake for 6-7 minutes or until the crust is lightly golden.
Buffalo Cauliflower Topping
  1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cauliflower florets, olive oil, garlic powder and salt.
  3. Toss to coat well and spread the florets in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden on the edges, tender and crispy.
  5. Transfer the roasted cauliflower back to the mixing bowl and toss with buffalo sauce until coated evenly.
Pizza Assembly
  1. Spread the buffalo cauliflower mixture over the prebaked crust, leaving a border around the edge.
  2. Top with grated vegan mozzarella and sliced red onions.
  3. Bake for another 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and black pepper to taste.
  5. Slice and serve hot.
