Beauty Glow Juice With Extra Pulp (No Juicer Needed)

This juice is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C & antioxidants. It is not just good to boost your immunity but it clears your skin, and acne and slows down the aging of the skin too. That means we can also say that it is a natural source of beautification and keeps your skin young and glowing.

You can try this and make it a part of your regular diet. I prefer to enjoy it in the morning as it refreshes my body and it is good for my gut health too. It is a tasty and refreshing way to start your day.

What are the benefits of this juice?

I am not an expert on this but based on my research and knowledge on the subject, below are the benefits:

  1. Boosts Immunity and fights infection
  2. Clears skin and acne
  3. Good for the gut health
  4. Slows down the skin aging
  5. Good for the eyes-sight

Is this recipe Vegan?

Yes. All the ingredients used in this recipe are vegan and plant-based. All the ingredients used in this recipe – carrot, tomato, orange, ginger – are quite easily available. You can even try our amla and beetroot juice.

What can we do with the leftover pulp or fibres?

I mostly add some pulp or fibres in the juice. I use a high power blender and it blends the ingredients quite well. Because of that the fibres don’t bother my throat while drinking the juice. But at times, it is difficult to drink juice with extra fibres.

If you want to use the leftover pulp or fibres, you can add it in the flour and make dough. It would make good chapati or roti. You can even collect the leftover pulp, refrigerate it and then make a broth for soups. In this juice, we only have carrots and tomato leftover. That is why, you can fry it with some onion and other seasonings and may eat it as a veggie.

Can we store the juice?

You can refrigerate it in an air-tight container for a day. But I would recommend making it fresh and consume within 2 hours. This is because of the reason that juices oxidize when they come in contact with the air. It is not advisable to consume it after many hours of making it. Fresh juice is always better.

Easy Swaps

  1. In a blender (or smoothie maker), add water, carrot, tomato, and ginger. Blend well until it is smooth and no chunks left.
  2. Add more water, if needed.
  3. Strain using a colander. Colander doesn't have fine mesh and that is why it retains some fibers in the juice and the juice turns out extra pulpy.
  4. I even add some of the leftover fibers back into the juice to make it pulpier.
  5. Squeeze out the juice of oranges or kinnow. Mix it with the juice already prepared above.
  6. You can even add orange pieces to the blender along with the other ingredients.
  7. Add chia seeds. Mix well and serve right away.
  8. This juice is quite pulpy. Strain using a muslin cloth if you don't want any fibers.

What is the best time to drink juice?

In my opinion, the best time to drink juice is in the morning when the stomach is empty. It gives you energy and makes you feel refreshing.

Should we drink Juice? Is it healthy?

I believe that food performs differently when consumed in different forms. Some nutrients are absorbed well by our body when consumed in the form of juice. In fact, every body reacts differently to different food items. Some things suit one person but others feel constipated with that. So, try and see if it suits your body.

What is the benefit of chia seeds?

Chia seeds are one of the rich sources of Omega-3. Our body needs Omega-3 because this is one thing that it can not produce on its own. That is why it needs to be provided by external food sources. Moreover, I read in the book ‘How not to die’ that 1 Tsp of Chia Seeds can keep you energetic for one full day. Isn’t it astonishing?

What is Amla?

Amla is the Hindi word for Indian Gooseberry. It is widely available in India, especially during the winter season. It is a medicinal plant, one of the richest sources of Vitamin C and has around eight times more Vitamin C than Oranges. This fruit is highly rich in antioxidants and extremely good during the winter season. It does not just help boost immunity but also prepares your body fight infections and germs. Consuming Amla is a natural way to fight the common cold and flu. Switch to this natural Vitamin C capsule, a winter superfood – Amla.

What are the richest sources of Vitamin C?

Following natural foods are highly rich in Vitamin C:

  1. Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
  2. Citrus Fruits like oranges, kiwis, lemons, etc.
  3. Bell Peppers
  4. Tomatoes
  5. Strawberries
  6. Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, etc.
