Story Time
Jatin is not a fan of granola or eating oats for breakfast. Or I should say “was”. When I made granola for the first time, he said that he doesn’t want to eat it for breakfast but he actually got addicted to eating it as a snack. It was irresistible for him. It was crunchy, nutty, and sweet. I guess it checks all the boxes to be an amazing snack.
This time was different. Because when I made this granola and gave it to him for a quick and easy evening snack, he liked it. In fact, he took a second serving of it. Whhaaaaaa??? I was actually not expecting it. I added some bananas to it and topped it with some berries and mint leaves. That made it extra colorful and tasty. Since then, I just make it as soon as it finishes because it makes a very easy breakfast and a healthier snack option too.
What is Granola?
Granola is a quick and easy breakfast or snack food that is made up of rolled oats, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, and some sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, brown sugar, etc. All these ingredients are mixed well and then cooked or baked together until golden brown and crispy. It comes in different varieties and flavors too and if you are making it at home, you can actually customize it as per your own taste buds.
You can add different kinds of nuts and seeds that are available, dried fruits like mango, apple, pineapple, etc. You can even add some spices like cinnamon, gingerbread spices, and nutmeg. Because we get so many different kinds of rolled grains these days like wheat or millet, we can customize it by using different kinds of grains and make it extra healthy and nutritious.
How to eat Granola?
Granola is a quick and easy breakfast (or snack). You don’t need to cook it further while eating because it is already baked or well-toasted. Top it up with some fresh-cut fruits like bananas, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, grapes, mango, apple, etc. to make it even more delicious and wholesome.

Yes. Of course. You can make the recipe on the gas stove but it would be more time taking and you need to keep mixing it continuously to avoid burning.
