How to cook Pasta?

Pasta is easy to cook but if left unnoticed, you can even ruin it easily. They are attention seekers. 🙂 Cook it as per the packet instructions or follow the below-mentioned tips to cook it just right:

  1. Take a large saucepan to boil pasta. Small pans overcrowd the pasta and make them sticky and mushy.
  2. Add ONLY SALT in water to boil pasta. NO OIL is needed.
  3. Add pasta only when the water starts to boil.
  4. Keep stirring in between to prevent them from sticking with each other.
  5. Pasta takes around 10 – 12 minutes to cook. Keep an eye out, and take a bite of it to see if they are cooked. Boil only until they are just cooked. Then remove from the flame and drain off the water.

Delightful Fusion Pasta

Who doesn't love Pasta? And it becomes even more exciting when it is a fusion pasta recipe. Try this quick and easy spicy garlic spaghetti pasta that is sure to become your house favorite.

Garlic Oil



      Garlic Oil
      1. Heat oil in a saucepan and add thinly sliced garlic to it. Keep the flame low. Cook until the edges of garlic are slightly golden brown. 
      2. Once done, remove it from the flame and transfer it to a bowl. Garlic will keep on cooking and turn light brown and crispy with the heat of the oil. Keep it aside.
      Boil Pasta
      1. Boil water with some salt to it. 
      2. The water should taste like sea.
      3. Add spaghetti pasta and cook until al dente or just cooked, about 8 to 10 minutes. Keep stirring in between to avoid sticking.
      4. Follow the cooking instructions given on the packet.
      5. Once cooked, drain off the water and keep it aside. Save some water to adjust the consistency of the sauce. 
      1. Heat a saucepan and add butter, garlic, and chili flakes to it. Saute for a minute on medium flame until the raw smell of garlic goes. Do not brown. Garlic should be just cooked or soft.
      2. Add dark soy sauce and vegan oyster sauce. Mix well. Add 1/2 Cup saves pasta water to adjust the consistency of the sauce. Cook for about 2 minutes. 
      3. Add cooked spaghetti pasta and mix everything well. Cover and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until it infuses all the flavors. 
      4. Serve right away. Drizzle some crispy garlic oil. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and vegan parmesan cheese. Dive right into it and enjoy.
